Your Benefits Renewal Roadmap
Enter your renewal date. See what to prepare, which questions to ask and how to organize your next benefits review.
Your preparation plan
A clearer path to your next renewal.
What to do now
Preparation dates, not insurer deadlines. The timeline is a suggested planning sequence. Confirm actual notice, underwriting, participation and transition requirements with your insurer or advisor. Earlier suggested dates are prompts to review now, not evidence that a contractual deadline was missed.
Questions for your review
Your suggested timeline
Milestones run from 120 days before renewal to renewal day. Dates are calendar dates; discuss business-day and holiday considerations with your provider.
Gather your review package
Tick what you have prepared. Ticks appear in the printed and downloaded summary; they are not saved when you leave.
Keep individual employee medical information and claims details out of general enquiries. GMFSI can explain an appropriate method for sharing any required records.
Keep your preparation on track
Add My Renewal Dates to My Calendar
Download upcoming milestones as all-day calendar entries, each with the suggested task and a link back to GMFSI.
How to add these dates
Download the .ics file, then open or import it in your calendar app. Choose the destination calendar and review the entries before saving. If opening does not import every entry, use your calendar’s file import option. Set any reminders you want in your calendar app.
These are suggested preparation dates, not insurer deadlines or meetings with GMFSI. Past milestones are excluded. Import once; repeated imports may create duplicates. This is a one-time download, not a subscription. If your renewal date changes, remove or update the old entries before importing a new file.
From Information to Action
Bring your renewal priorities to GMFSI.
Open an enquiry with your renewal date and review priorities already included. Review the message and add your contact details before submitting.
Opening the enquiry does not submit it. Printing options depend on your browser.
Educational planning aid only. A review does not guarantee savings, equivalent replacement coverage or a carrier change. Decisions depend on your workforce, budget, plan terms and provider requirements.
